Otherwise known as the sound my brain makes when I try to make it think of something witty and engaging to write at 10:30pm on a Friday night, the end of a very long week.
I had actually toyed with the idea of making Friday my day to post a random picture of Owen during this whole month of NoBloPoMo, but it appears that someone (and let’s just say that I’m currently sporting several imprints of this someone’s dental record on both arms) has decided that the USB cable for the camera needed to go somewhere else. And decided not to share that information.
So there you have it–my exciting Friday evening–being bit by the kid and unable to download photos.

Your funny for the week: yesterday M(8), S(5) and I were having a discussion (started by them) about Ephraim and Manassah, and S. pipes up with, “Hey! I know what word is hiding in the word ‘Manasseh’!”, and Mi. says, “Me too!” And I’m thinking, “Where on earth did they hear THAT word!” Then they both said, together, “NASA!”, and I’m thinking, “I am SOOOOOOO glad I homeschool, or I think the outcome of this conversation would have been different!” I told my mom this story and she said that at least I hadn’t immediately thought of her this time as to where they would have acquired that new piece of vocabulary….I just didn’t tell her that that was the next thought trying to form when they both said “NASA” =).
I think I’m 2 behind on Grey’s, but I’ll let you know when I’m caught up!

Ugh. Exactly what was happening here at 10:30 p.m. last night! Hence the ball grabbing commentary which, I promise ,was better received on my syndicated Live Journal then on the ‘real’ web.
