    ‘THE’ interview

    April 18, 2007

Amy from Bite the Rabbit was nice enough to interview me (okay okay, I paid her lots and begged her to do it, just so I could feel special). Here are the five questions she asked me and my answers:

    1. Rebublican or Democrat or something else? Was this was influenced by your parents views? I don’t really consider myself to be Republican, Democrat or something else. I try to vote for the best cantidate, or as is more likely, the lesser of two evils. This is probably influenced more by my mom (kind of a free spirit when it comes to politics) rather than my dad (staunch staunch Republican). Pretty much I usually end up cancelling out my husband’s vote (another staunch staunch Republican) when we go vote.

    2. How did you meet your husband? Do you want the story we tell everyone or the ‘real’ story that only a few close friends and family know? Okay, the real skinny is that I met my husband online. I KNOW! I’m such a dork! We ‘met’ on a religion-based dating website in April, met in person in August and were married the next June. Something must have worked because we’ll be celebrating our third wedding anniversary this June.

    3. What bill do you hate paying the most? All of them, ha ha. Actually, there are two that I hate paying because they are the only two that I can’t pay online, so I have to pull out the checkbook, make out the check, address the envelope and actually mail the things. It messes up my whole bill paying ’system’.

    4. Library or bookstore? Library. I love to read and go through books too quickly to be able to justify buying a book to read. However, if it is a really good book (one I’ll read again and again) or something special, I will buy it.

    5. How many children do you want or is this a bad age (Owen’s, not yours) to ask that question at? :) The answer changes, depending on the day and the time of day. Ideally, my husband and I feel like ‘4′ is the right number for us. However? Ask me at 1:45 am when Owen has not slept well and feels like he needs to sleep thisclose to me and nurse and nurse and nurse in our bed instead of sleeping for a five hour stretch in his own crib and the answer is likely to be closer to ‘1′. I will tell you a leetle seecret though–even though Owen won’t be a year until July, we’re actually kind of trying for #2 now. I’ll be 31 this year and worry alot about having kids close to the cut off age of 36 and we really kind of want our kids to be close in age…so that’s why. Plus, I really enjoyed pregnancy overall and would love to get to experience it again and I think Owen would really benefit from having a sibling.

So there you have it. What’s that? YOU want to be interviewed too? Well, we can arrange that. Here’s how you can participate:

    1. Leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”
    2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
    3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.
    4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
    5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will as them five questions.

Great answers…I totally feel like I know you better. We’re leaning towards 4 kids too but we’re not having any yet. Good luck with number 2! That is SO exciting!

      Ooh, I love these interviews!

I know what you mean about being up in the middle of the night thinking you can’t imagine having ANOTHER child. It’s too late for me, I guess!

Thanks for the comment over at my blog!
