What’s more fun than a sinus infection?
A raging sinus infection and a six month old that suddenly needs to wake up every hour from midnight until 7 am and will not go back to sleep until
a) You rock him back to sleep
b) You nurse him yet again even though he ate well before bed and just ate the hour before when he last woke up previously
c)A combination of both ‘a’ and ‘b’
Apparently I have done something to anger fate because this is all happening right before my husband has to leave for a week for business. Why is it never that the baby magically starts sleeping for seven or eight hours at a stretch during the night right before my husband leaves on business–instead deciding that since Daddy’s going to be away, now’s the time to see just how well Mama can function on four hours of sleep?
The sinus infection is just gravy on two weeks worth of not sleeping.
Even better?
Tomorrow I have an appointment with my dentist. Really, I just don’t think things can get any better over here this week.
