Since the beginning of the new year, it really seems so easy to kind of ignore this and forget to write. It isn’t that I don’t have great ideas for posts (that occur at 2am and I don’t write down and then promptly forget about)–I just keep getting sidetracked in my everyday life.
Some short highlights from the real world–
*Owen, who just turned 6 months on Friday, can sit by himself for short periods of time. Of course, this usually ends in a face plant of some kind, so we’re still working on that.
*Making baby food is going so well–I have enough frozen cubes of butternut squash, peas, avacados and yams to last for the next two months. I feel so…accomplished and domestic.
*I am finally having to face up to my fear of the dentist. I have a molar that’s been giving me some problems off and on and I am going to call the dentist tomorrow and make an appointment. Our dentist is really nice (and VERY good)–I have just had a few previous unpleasant experiences with another dentist and my teeth are already super sensitive, so I really really really don’t like going to the dentist. In fact, I think I would about rather go through labor without drugs than have work done on my teeth.
*I started a craft blog (and promptly haven’t posted anymore) called Two Crafty Hands and I am really going to make more of an effort to do something with it. Stop by if you craft or are just interested to see if I ever manage to make it past one post.
*Our new computer is arriving tomorrow. I am SO excited. I am completely stoked about the idea of being able to run more than one program at a time without everything slowing down to the pace of glaciers moving.
Other than not managing to work on that New Year’s Resolution of actually getting to the gym to work off the 15 pounds I’m still trying to lose post-Owen, that’s about it from here for now.

Your life sounds like my life…promises to go the the gym, not enough room for all the baby food cubes in the freezer, a 6-month old baby, and no time to craft, etc
