Wow, here it is the last day of November already. Kind of feels like the last day of school–you’re really glad it’s here (signing charming things like, “Ha ha, I signed your crack”, “It’s been real, it’s been fun, but it hasn’t been real fun” and the ever popular, “Don’t ever change” in each other’s yearbooks)but at the same time there is a pang, something wistful at the end of it all.

I will slightly miss the posting everyday (and getting to read some of my old and newly discovered faves who posted everyday right alongside me as well) however, in my delusion (six hours total of nightly sleep that gets interrupted every two hours by a 25 inch tyrant will do that to you) I have managed to forget that next week is finals week for school. Internet, I sat down and made a list tonight and let’s just say that I have a lot to get accomplished before Friday December 9, 2006. Eh, I do work better under pressure. It will be nice to use time that would have been spent here trying to pound out a semi-decent post on some assignment/quiz/paper that sorely needs it.

Until next year NoBloPoMo–totally don’t change who you are and like, call me or something.

Only three more posts after today…oh how will I ever manage to find meaning in my life without the unrelenting pressure to post on a daily basis?

I’m sure I’ll find something to fill the big black emotional hole left by the month of November and NoBloPoMo…you know, something like a toilet that needs to be scrubbed or those three Christmas stockings that need to be finished being knitted and ready to fill before 12/24…yes, something will take NoBloPoMo’s place rather quickly, I suspect.

I’m still holding out to win one of the rocking prizes ’cause I do likey me some neato cheeto free stuff, I have to say.

I flooded part of our basement this afternoon. Actually, the utility sink next to the washer actually facilitated the flooding, but I was the one who had turned on the tap. The way that our washer is hooked up, when you want to run a load on ‘hot’ (like with the sheets I ran through this afternoon), you have to turn the tap on at the utility sink to run the hot water through the load. Unfortunately, the handle of the line decided to spring a leak after I went back upstairs. Several hours later, coming down the stairs, I knew that hearing loud water sounds was not a good sign.
Luckily the part that flooded is (for the most part) tile and nothing is stored where the majority of the water ended up. Still made a good mess though.
In other areas of my life…
Is there a certain point, a saturation point if you will, where you have just been covered so many times in baby vomit that it just stops bothering you when it happens? I’m still waiting to hit that point apparently.

And finally, 2/3 of the way through NoBloPoMo. I am not posting for a week after the 30th…enough time to hopefully have fun and exciting posts make their way back through the old grey matter.
