    That’s Klassy with a ‘K’

    November 27, 2006

(Earlier this morning in our bedroom)

“Hey, can you throw this away for me?”

    (deposits something into my hand)

    (inspecting deposit)

    “Um…Eww that’s a booger!”

“I am not a booger recepticle”

“Well, I didn’t need it anymore.”

“What, and you thought I did?”

Typed while the boy screams in the background

    November 26, 2006

This is short because we just got home from our family thing and it is 11:45pm at night and Owen is so tired that all he can do is just scream. That and you know, I’m tired too.

So I had the most disturbing dream last night that my teeth were made of cork. Every time I would eat something, more of them would wear away. It was awful. Not as bad as the dreams I had right after Owen was born where I dreamt (several times) that I had no teeth and was just so amazed when I woke up and still had teeth.

    Anybody care to analyze?

It’s the most wonderful time of year

    November 25, 2006

The husband, myself and Owen decided to brave the crowds tonight and we went a few places to get a few things done. It wasn’t as bad crowd-wise as it could have been-we completely bypassed the mall and only stopped at Wal-Mart for light bulbs. Target was a bit hairy though-I think that it was the busiest post 7pm shopping I have ever seen.

Tomorrow we drive an hour north to visit with my husband’s family for a post-Thanksgiving dinner and we have a few errands to run in the morning before we go. I don’t think we’re going to be so lucky to not have to fight the crowds, which already has me feeling tense. I really do not like crowds and especially the post Thanksgiving pre-Christmas crowds. It makes me itchy just thinking about it.

On a brighter note, because there will be many willing hands wanting to hold Owen tomorrow, I should actually get much work done on the first of our three knitted Christmas stockings. It may be the only one to actually be finished before Christmas this year.
